MAG 2020 Annual Conference and
Tech Forum Going Virtual

It goes without saying that 2020 has proven to be a unique year, as COVID-19 has affected nearly every facet of life and business.

Conferences and events have been hit especially hard due to the severe restrictions on travel and the limited number of people allowed to gather in the face of social distancing.

Above all else, the safety and well-being of our attendees is of the utmost importance to the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG). As such, we have made the decision to transition our in-person Annual Conference and Tech Forum into virtual events.

Please join us online for the most engaging virtual experiences in the payments industry.

Tech Forum: October 13 - 15, 2020
Annual Conference: October 20 - 22, 2020

Without the large price tag and time commitment of travel, a significant benefit of a virtual conference is that it is easier and more economical for additional staff from your company to attend and participate first-hand in the informative sessions we will offer.

We are finalizing details to bring you the same high-quality content, vital networking and personal interaction with fellow MAG members and sponsors that you have come to know as signature elements of our conferences.

Registration is now open. Stay tuned for more information regarding conference sponsorship opportunities including our interactive exhibit hall.

We look forward to you joining us in October.

Crypto-Currency
By Dean Shaeffer, SVP Financial Services/Chief Compliance Officer, Boscov's

One of the things that the MAG does best is monitoring, educating and advocating on payments system changes. In that light, we have created several Communities of Practice (“COPs”). For some time, I have had an interest in crypto-currency and work with several other MAG members on our Crypto-COP to better understand the quickly evolving crypto-currency and block-chain landscape.

By Eric O'Brien, Director of Education, Merchant Advisory Group

Merchant Advisory Group (MAG) members often tell us (and by often, I mean... in every single survey we send out, at every conference, and in most sidebar conversations) that collaboration and networking are the headlining values of the organization and that the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) epitomize what the MAG is all about.
