The implementation of EMV in the US has been significantly more complex than the implementation of EMV in other countries due to a variety of reasons.  For example, initial direction from one of the major global networks that consumers must be given choice in debit routing was rebutted by the US Federal Reserve which issued a clarifying statement that debit routing is managed by the merchant.  This webinar will walk through that statement, its impact on the EMV transaction flow and the customer experience, and talk at a high level about the paths to implement the elected option.
