Mark spent 10 years working in banks and credit unions and more recently 5 years at Walmart as Director of Payments. He has served as CEO of the Merchant Advisory Group, a unique merchant trade association focused on payments, for the last 6 years. The MAG’s membership consists of over 100 of the largest merchants in the US. Sponsors include all of the payments networks as well as 8 of the largest merchant acquirers. Mark frequently represents the MAG at payment industry events where he is a frequent speaker and panelist.     

Presenter: Judith McGuire, Executive Vice President, Product Management, PULSE

Judith McGuire HeadshotJudith McGuire is Executive Vice President of Product Management for PULSE, a Discover Financial Services company headquartered in Houston, Texas. She has a track record of developing differentiated solutions and leading organizations in highly competitive environments. While she has a constant eye on the future, she also takes a pragmatic approach to investing resources in areas with near-term practical applications.

Judith established the product management department at PULSE, one of the nation’s leading debit/ATM networks. Her focus on team building and her passion for success have helped the organization adapt to fundamental changes in the payments industry. Through strategic product planning and development, Judith led PULSE’s transition from a PIN network to a broader payments provider supporting the full range of debit transactions.

Judith has an extensive background in the payments industry. She joined PULSE in 2002 and managed the acquiring side of the network’s business until 2008. Previously, in her nine years in product development and marketing at First Data Corporation, she was instrumental in reducing the company’s cost of sales and strengthening its product sets. She is a regular speaker at payments industry conferences.

Judith has a B.A. in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an advisor to the Buzz Points board of directors, a member of the Debit Network Alliance board of directors, a member of the advisory board for the Texas Nature Conservancy and participates in the National Charity League.

He and his teams develop products to enhance SHAZAM's core strengths and introduce new products into the marketplace to help its clients succeed. In his 14 years at SHAZAM, Manish has worked as a senior engineer / consultant, information technology (IT) technical lead, director of architecture leading to his current position of leading SHAZAM’s enterprise products & services.  Manish has more than 25 years of experience in the electronic payments industry, primarily building enterprise-strength, high-performance online authorization systems. He has experience in POS, ATM, acquirer and issuer processing, as well as leading and emerging technologies such as EMV, contactless and tokenization, mobile and payments based on IoT devices.
