MAG Membership News: The MAG Continues to Deliver Value (MAG Quarterly- Volume Five, Issue Two)

The Merchant Advisory Group’s (MAG) finely-tuned focus on driving positive change and advocating for merchant’s interests continues to draw new members.  The MAG has 126 members (link to membership page) as of June 2017 which is a 30% increase from just two years ago! 

In the past 60 days, we have had 8 new member companies join to gain access to the MAG’s valuable resources, networking and educational benefits. We welcome these members to the MAG:

Each member brings tremendous value to the MAG by sharing ideas, solutions, and best practices. It’s what the MAG is all about.

MAG’s in person networking events like the Annual and Mid-Year Conferences are unique compared to other industry conferences. The MAG has the greatest percentage of merchant attendees representing cross verticals than any other industry event and opportunities to connect with fellow merchants through offerings like the SIG’s (Special Interest Groups). The SIG’s allow members to connect with cross-vertical merchant participation, as well as the ability to network and share outside of one’s primary vertical thus making it one of the biggest benefits of MAG membership. 

MAG webinars are free to merchant members and content is focused on topics important to merchants. View the MAG 2017 webinar offerings and as an added benefit to MAG members, most webinars are recorded so you can listen to them when it’s most convenient for you. Simply log in to the Member Resources area to access recorded webinars. What most merchants want to know is what other merchants are doing and keeping abreast of industry trends. The MAG provides important and up-to-date industry information by offering best practices, surveys and studies that are all contained in member resources area of the website.  

With the goal of increasing the knowledge of payments professionals, the MAG offers education sessions in conjunction with the Mid-Year and Annual conferences and these are free to members and sponsors.  

With merchants joining at record pace and a 100% 2017 renewal rate, it’s clear that the MAG is providing exceptional value. Help us spread the word about all the MAG has to offer.
