MAG Membership News: MAG Activity and Membership Continue to Grow (MAG Quarterly- Volume Five, Issue Three)

MAG members and sponsors continue to be very active in 2017.  Since June, the MAG has welcomed new members: Dollar Tree Stores, Pier 1 Imports, Amazon, The Chanel Company Limited, Carter’s Inc., and Valero Energy Corporation; new Silver sponsor: IR; and new Gold sponsor: Forter. Additionally, FIS / NYCE Payments Network has upgraded their sponsorship to Elite Brand sponsor. Thank you for your long standing support!  
Your active involvement in MAG programs and sponsorship of MAG educational programs and activities fuels our efforts to address emerging issues and champion merchant interests in this time of continuous change in the payments industry. 
Here are a few 2017 highlights:

  • Added 17 new merchant members and four new sponsors
  • Produced three newsletters, 10 webinars, the 2017 Mid-Year conference, two education sessions and a best practice guide on debit routing.
  • MAG staff and members have participated in Federal Reserve task forces and steering committees, US Payments Forum efforts, written articles, attended many industry events, collaborated with merchant trade associations on the Choice Act, continued outreach to the general public through, formed Digital Commerce committee and Operations Committee and continued our merchant vertical dialog as well as ongoing conversations with Brand networks and Acquirer sponsors.

The MAG has passionate and engaged members and sponsors. We look forward to more accomplishments as we move into the 4th quarter including a great 2017 Annual Conference this month! We hope you can join us!
