As an Annual Sponsor of the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), you signed on to support the MAG community and help drive positive change and innovation in the payments industry. But are you taking full advantage of everything that comes with your sponsorship? Each of our sponsorship tiers comes with a robust list of benefits, and we don’t want you to miss a single thing. From speaking opportunities, to comp conference passes and more, here’s a quick refresher to make sure you are taking full advantage of your sponsor benefits and maximizing the return on your investment. 

Amplify Your Voice 

MAG sponsors are eligible to publish articles, whitepapers, or press releases on our MAG Insights page. You can take advantage of this up to once a month, for a total of 12 times a year. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your expertise and thought leadership directly to decision-makers in the merchant payments space. It is also a great opportunity to cross-post press releases from your own website. Submitting is super easy – just scroll down on the MAG Insights page until you see the blue ‘Submit Sponsor News’ box.

Take the Stage 

If you are a Tier 3 Annual Sponsor or above, your sponsorship includes one speaking opportunity in your term. That can be either a webinar or a conference session (conference sessions can be anything from a general session, breakout session, innovation stage, or participation as a panelist). Don’t miss your chance to participate! If your company is eligible to speak at the upcoming conference, you will be included in our Call for Papers (CFP) communications. Our CFP is sent out ahead of each conference to eligible companies, and you have up to one month to submit session(s). Pro-tip: Our members love it when a sponsor has a merchant partner on stage with them.

Our CFP for Payments MAGnified 26 went out to the primary contact and conference contact of eligible sponsors on September 22 and will remain open until October 20.

Expand Your Conference Presence 

Annual and Tech Forum Sponsors receive: 

  • Complimentary registrations to both Payments MAGnified and MAG Payments Conference 
    • 2 comp passes – Tier 4 
    • 5 comp passes – Tier 3 
    • 7 comp passes – Tier 2 
    • 9 comp passes – Tier 1  
    • 3 comp passes – Tech Forum 
  • 10’ x 10’ exhibit space at both events 
    • Booth selections are first come, first serve. Our Conference team will notify the primary contact and conference contact of each sponsor company via email about 3-4 months ahead of each conference that the exhibitor portal is open. Once you receive that email, it is your responsibility to log in and select your booth. MAG Staff does not assign booths.  
    • The 10’ x 10’ booth is a basic build with black pipe and drape, a table, two chairs, and a wastebasket. As a sponsor, you can utilize that space however you wish. Some successful things we have seen sponsors do in their booth to drive traffic include hosting happy hours, unique activations like embroidered bandanas or a color palette stylist, custom donuts, or a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cart. We encourage our sponsors to get creative! 
    • You can order booth builds, additional AV, or extra furniture directly from GES through the portal. Or you can work with your own exhibit service provider – it is up to you! 
    • The MAG has a select number of 10’ x 20’ booths available for upgrade at $11,000.  
  • Your company will receive recognition during conferences, including logo placement on physical and digital signage and on-stage acknowledgment by MAG Leadership. 
  • Your company will be included in the conference mobile app with your logo, company description, and a direct link to your site. 
  • You will receive two pre-conference and one post-conference attendee lists, plus the ability to send two pre-event communications to attendees who’ve opted in. 
    • Pro-tip: Our merchant members receive many emails from sponsors ahead of each conference. Because of this, we encourage sponsors to be strategic in their outreach and avoid mass-form emails to all attendees. Targeting a specific vertical? Personalized outreach to attendees in that vertical is more likely to get a better response than mass emails.

Additional Branding Opportunities 

Want even more brand exposure? As an Annual or Tech Forum Sponsor in good standing, you are eligible to purchase additional conference sponsorship opportunities to help showcase your brand and provide even greater visibility to our conference attendees. Some of the conference sponsorships we offer include opportunities like evening networking receptions, hotel room keycards, wi-fi, escalator and/or wall branding clings, branded reusable water bottles, networking lounges, branded meeting pods, and many more.
